Frequently asked questions

Short answers about where PrimaCite's answers come from, how citations work, its limits, privacy, languages and access.

Where do the answers come from?

From your organization's documents, specialty-society guidelines and peer-reviewed literature, and from web search where your deployment enables it. You choose the sources for each question.

How do the citations work?

When an answer includes numbered markers, each marker points to a reference card naming the document and the place in it, and a number keeps the same source throughout that answer.

Can an answer be wrong?

Yes. AI-generated answers may be inaccurate or incomplete. When an answer includes a numbered citation, the marker links to its source: open it and verify the point before relying on the answer. The clinical decision remains yours.

Does it replace clinical judgment?

No. PrimaCite is a research aid, not a medical device, and it is not for emergencies.

What happens to my questions?

To generate an answer, your question and relevant excerpts are sent to a third-party AI provider, as the Privacy Notice describes. Do not enter anything that identifies a patient.

Who can see the files I upload?

Files in your personal library are visible only to you. The organization's knowledge base is shared with the users of your deployment.

Which languages does it support?

Vietnamese and English, both for the interface and for questions and answers.

Who is it for?

Physicians and residents first, and also medical students and other hospital staff.

How do I get access?

Sign in from this site with a one-time code sent to your email, or with a sign-in provider your deployment offers.

Can my hospital have its own deployment?

Yes. In production, each organization has its own deployment, branded for it, at its own address.
